This is one of the recipes I’ve created for Lotus Blooming Herbs, which is an incredible Ayurvedic herbal supplements company that just so happens to have been founded by my amazing husband, Johann.
Rose flavor and aroma has always had a special place in my heart. Growing up, I remember my mom wearing rose perfumes and making rose flavored desserts and beverages. The taste and smell is so loving and comforting to me.
In fact, in Ayurveda, rose is said to possess qualities that uplift mood and soothe the heart. It’s no coincidence that we give roses to people we love!
This recipe is vegan, gluten free and only sweetened by dates. It’s a special dessert or snack full of healthy fats.

3-4 Tbs shredded unsweetened coconut
1/4 tsp cardamom
Pinch sea salt
2 tsp rose water
